Something to think about....

For the past couple of days I have had jury duty, for the first time ever. This has allowed me to be home in the evenings for a change, even if only temporary...Homework... Just Dance!!!.... playing their instruments... dinner...a normal evening or three, for a change.... now back to the grind. It was an interesting couple of days at the ole courthouse. Kinda funny how the Prosecutors and Defense lawyers all seem to be buddy buddy and know each other and stuff... didnt seem like Law and Order at all...  funny how all of a sudden I-Man seems to be "ok" with wearing a polo shirt to school. He used to NEVER wear a polo shirt. Now he gets it out himself and puts it on....

I must admit that rain has been a rather regular event since May. And I for one am glad... also glad it has been probably the coolest Summer that I can ever remember. I suppose its that global warming that will next provide us with an exceptionally cool winter. Well... not sure I want that but I think it may be coming. We are also due for another ice storm event so I need to look at generator possibilities to cover our bases. Anyway I am happy we had a creek this summer and not a dry sandy trail with water dribbling thru it...

i typically ignore the Yankees/Red Sox games because ESPN is so blatantly in the tank for and seeming to care/show anything that involves these two teams... or currently Dodgers. But this game tonight has been highly entertaining....
