I remember back to an email a friend sent me a while back talking about how many stores and shops were going to be closing in the future. This was like two, maybe three, years ago. I remember reading that and thinking NO WAY some of these places would be closing stores or going under altogether. But today, as I drove thru town and then went into the Mall for a little while, I was stuck by how many closed stores I saw. Eddie Bauer is no longer there. The Sprint hutch? Gone.... several stores boarded up on Main Street. Is this the economic prosperity Obama said would return if we hurried up and just went along with what he said?
at any rate, i think back to that email often... and think.. "Wow.. she was dead on...."
